There was a time when “Mythic Manor” was one of the games new arrivals to the AVN scene got pointed toward first. A 3DCG sandbox built around a manor full of monster girls — succubi, harem dynamics, transformation and mind-control threads woven through a genuinely large cast — it had the scope and the art direction to feel like a flagship project. Two years on from its last content drop, the thread reads less like a review and less like a eulogy in progress.

The game itself, when you actually load it up, still holds up in the ways that made it popular. Developer Jikei built a sandbox with real range — harem, femdom, lactation, pregnancy, transformation, and more sit alongside a cast large enough that character forums still light up with favorites. “Nefari” comes up repeatedly as a fan favorite, with players comparing her hime-cut-and-curves design to other genre icons. AlexTorch, checking in mid-2026, put it plainly: “the game still good,” even while confirming the abandoned tag conversation happening around it.

That’s the tragedy of it, though — the quality of what exists is no longer the conversation. It’s the pace, or rather the absence of one. Version 0.22 landed on November 17, 2024, and as of this writing that’s still the latest build. User Cmdr. G.Pancake has been tracking the clock publicly, counting down the days to the site’s 18-month inactivity threshold and noting this isn’t the first time Jikei has gone quiet only to resurface with an “it’s coming soon” post right as the abandoned tag loomed. torresm summed up the community’s read on it bluntly: “Updated less than once a year, but dodging the abandoned tag by a technicality.”

What stings more is that v0.22 wasn’t even a big update when it finally arrived — multiple posters note it “got roasted for being skimpy” on release, which makes the wait feel worse in hindsight rather than better. Painfoler’s assessment from the thread captures the mood well: a project that was “very promising at first,” now delivering “a few scenes, new characters that no one needs,” while established girls sit with “unfinished or even unstarted stories.” Jim Webb points to Jikei’s own Patreon earnings disclosure — a modest number even assuming most patrons are on the lowest tier — as evidence the studio has settled into a low-effort, low-output equilibrium rather than scaling up.

There’s no official f95zone community score attached to this listing, so this verdict is built entirely from the forum’s temperature: real affection for the world and cast Jikei created, undercut hard by years of dwindling communication and a content cadence that’s now measured in years per update rather than months. A 5/10 reflects a game that’s still worth trying for the existing content and character writing, but one you should go into with your expectations for future updates set at essentially zero.
