Velvet v1.0 Released
Gambula Games has released Velvet version 1.0, marking the game’s official full release. After an extended development period in early access, the studio is calling the project complete — a milestone that remains genuinely rare in the adult VN space, where titles often linger in episodic development for years.
Velvet sets itself apart from the crowd with a puzzle-driven structure rather than a straight visual novel or sandbox approach. Players work through a series of interactive scenarios built around a heat system, a progressive mechanic that gates scene escalation behind in-game actions and solutions. The developer notes the 1.0 release brings the heat system to its intended final form, completing the loop the early builds were designed around.
Scenes are rendered in 2DCG with animated sequences throughout, and the content covers stripping, teasing, oral, anal, and vaginal content with a male protagonist. The AI-assisted artwork has a polished, stylised look that leans into the game’s tonal consistency rather than chasing photorealism.
The 1.0 build is available on Windows, Mac, and Android, giving the game broad reach across desktop and mobile platforms. Players who sampled earlier builds will find a complete content slate with the puzzle and heat progression fully realised from start to finish.
