The Halo Project v15.0b Released

By MaC

hushhushgames has released The Halo Project v15.0b, the 15th major version of this long-running 3DCG sci-fi sandbox RPG. The .0b suffix marks a follow-up patch to the 15.0 launch, tightening up issues identified by players in the days after release.

The Halo Project casts players as a male protagonist in a sci-fi setting built around corruption mechanics, mind-control progression, and a growing harem of characters. Gameplay is sandbox-driven — relationships and outcomes evolve over time, with 3DCG animated scenes woven throughout. The RPG layer adds structure to what would otherwise be a pure sandbox, giving players objectives alongside the freedom to explore.

Hitting version 15 is a rare achievement in adult game development. Sustained, content-adding releases over this many versions have built a player base large enough to produce translations into six languages: English, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean — a breadth that few titles in the space can match.

The game is available on both Windows and Android, keeping it accessible whether players prefer desktop or mobile. Anyone returning after a gap of a few versions will find considerably more content waiting in the RPG and sandbox layers added over the past year of development.
