Star Knightess Aura v1.3.3 Released

By MaC

aura-dev has released Star Knightess Aura v1.3.3, a maintenance build that ships with a fix specifically targeting crashes “when loading outdated saves” — a common pain point for anyone returning to a long-running RPG mid-playthrough. If v1.3.2 left your save in an uncertain state, this is the patch to grab.

Star Knightess Aura is a 2DCG fantasy RPG following Aura, a girl pulled from the real world into a dangerous parallel realm. What starts as an isekai adventure darkens steadily: the game’s corruption and mind-control systems sit at the center of its mechanics, and the turn-based combat feeds directly into how Aura’s story — and her transformation — unfolds. The tag list is one of the longest in the genre: prostitution, monster encounters, paranormal intrigue, multiple protagonist routes, and genuine multiple endings give the game a scope that’s earned its wiki.

The school-setting opener and humor-tinged writing keep early hours accessible before the content escalates, and the developer has been unusually consistent about shipping updates on a regular cadence since the game’s inception. By v1.3.x, the content depth is substantial — this isn’t a title counting scenes in single digits.

v1.3.3 is available on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, keeping the full platform spread intact. The Android build is a meaningful inclusion for a game this dense; it’s the kind of RPG that rewards longer sessions.

Patch notes for this version were posted to the community but hidden behind a spoiler tag — standard for a developer who’s careful about content reveals. The save-compatibility fix is the headline, and it’s a practical one.
