MonCurse v0.7.1.0.4 Released

By MaC

Kamuu’s monster-girl platformer MonCurse has jumped to v0.7.1.0.4, following up on the v0.7.0.3 build with a lamia-focused combat rework and adjustments to the game’s signature transformation systems.

The headline change is a new ability tied specifically to lamia encounters, replacing the protagonist’s basic attack with something far more thematically fitting. As the patch notes describe it, the update includes an ability “that replaces basic attacks against lamia with an embrace-like ability (worship)” — swapping straightforward combat for a mechanic that leans directly into the game’s corruption-and-transformation core, where fighting monster girls and succumbing to them are often the same action.

The patch also touches the game’s long-running bust-growth progression, an area Kamuu has continued to fine-tune since the system’s introduction. Notes indicate the pacing has been adjusted so that scaling “may make getting a large bust very annoying,” with the developer acknowledging more opportunities for bust size increases are planned “in the future, hopefully.”

MonCurse casts players as a protagonist navigating a fantasy world overrun by monster girls, blending 2D platforming and turn-based combat with heavy corruption, transformation, and possession themes. The side-scrolling structure and multiple endings have made it a steady favorite among fans of monster-girl content, and Kamuu has kept up a consistent update cadence across both Windows/Mac/Linux and Android builds.
