MonCurse v0.7.0.3 Released
MonCurse, the 2D monster girl side-scroller from developer Kamuu, has landed version 0.7.0.3, adding new interaction mechanics, body physics, and tactical wrinkles to its blend of platformer action and turn-based encounters.
The most notable addition is a reworked lamia combat system. Basic attacks against lamia enemies have been replaced with an embrace-style ability called Worship, leaning further into the game’s monster girl fantasy and coiling deeper into its corruption mechanics.
Bust size physics also get expanded attention in this build. The update introduces dynamic growth and reduction states, and the protagonist now accumulates fatigue when jumping with a particularly large bust — a stamina penalty that ties body transformation directly to platformer performance. Enemy AI has been adjusted to match: nearby foes can be distracted by the player character’s proportions, creating new openings for tactical play.
MonCurse puts players in the role of a female protagonist navigating a world of monster girls, possession, mind control, and transformation. Battles play out in turn-based combat, while exploration happens across 2D side-scrolling stages. Loss conditions carry lewd consequences, and multiple endings reward different playstyles. The game ships on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, and supports both English and Chinese.

Version 0.7.0.3 is live now. Patreon supporters receive early access builds ahead of the public itch.io release.
