Memories of a Summer v1.0 Released

Memories of a Summer cover art

Japanese doujin circle Hachimitsu Sand has pushed Memories of a Summer to v1.0.0, and the headline for Western players is the release of an edited English machine translation — the earlier raw-MTL builds have been passed over by an editor, making this the first version that’s genuinely readable end to end.

What’s in v1.0.0

Version 1.0.0 marks the project’s completed state rather than another content drop. Everything the circle planned is in: the full summer storyline, the complete gallery of animated scenes, and Japanese voice acting across the heroine’s dialogue.

Mechanically this is a 3D simulator rather than a click-through visual novel. You spend the season building the relationship through daily interactions, with the sexual content — handjob, oral, creampie, exhibitionism and voyeuristic beats — unlocking as intimacy progresses. As with most DLsite releases, the artwork is censored per Japanese regulations, and there is no uncensor patch shipped with this build.

Platforms and access

The v1.0.0 build is Windows only, with no Linux, Mac or Android ports announced. The circle has not published a detailed patch list alongside this release, so if you played an earlier MTL build, expect the translation pass — not new scenes — to be the reason to reinstall.

For a mid-length 3D romance sim with full voice work, it’s a solid pickup for anyone who bounced off the machine-translated versions earlier this year.
