Jikage Rising: Version 2.31a Arc 3 Released - Arc 3 Update Brings New Scene and Fixes

Smiling Dog has pushed out version 2.31a of Jikage Rising, the long-running Naruto fan-game that’s spent years building one of the more feature-complete harem sandboxes in the adult VN space. The update — part of the ongoing Arc 3 — went live on March 18 for Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android.

Arc 3 represents a significant evolution for the game, which originally launched as a relatively modest Naruto-inspired title and has since grown into a sprawling corruption-and-conquest sandbox. The v2.31a patch adds a new screen alongside the usual round of refinements, continuing the cadence of small but consistent updates that have kept the community engaged across more than two years of development.

For the uninitiated: Jikage Rising puts you in the role of a male protagonist working to establish dominance over the women of the Hidden Leaf — borrowing heavily from the source material’s cast and lore while layering in animated 2D scenes, harem mechanics, mind-control routes, and an escalating corruption system. The 2DCG art style has matured noticeably across arcs, and the animation work on the more explicit scenes is a cut above most entries in the parody subgenre.

The game’s tag list covers a broad spread — BDSM, group sex, footjob, creampie, virgin routes — and Arc 3 has been introducing new characters and scenarios at a steady clip since its launch earlier this month.

With v2.31 already representing a mature branch of the arc, the 2.31a patch is a maintenance-and-polish release rather than a content landmark. If you’re already mid-playthrough, it’s a recommended update. If you’re new to the series, Arc 1 and 2 provide the foundation.
