Hello World v0.4.5 Released
Developer deafrocket has pushed Hello World v0.4.5, the newest build of the text-driven life simulator that has been steadily expanding since its debut. The release is live for Windows and Android.
Hello World sits in a corner of the AVN scene that doesn’t get much attention: the systems-first, text-based sandbox. Instead of leaning on rendered scene galleries, it puts the weight on character creation and simulation — you build your protagonist, then work through a dating-sim loop where relationships, conception and pregnancy are all tracked mechanically rather than scripted. The game supports both male and female protagonists, which is still comparatively rare for the genre and means the sandbox reshapes itself depending on who you make.
The v0.4.5 patch notes were posted behind a spoiler tag on release day and haven’t been mirrored in full, so we’re not going to invent specifics. What’s clear is the cadence: deafrocket has been shipping point releases at a steady clip through 2026, and the 0.4.x line has been the stretch where the relationship and pregnancy systems moved from skeleton to something you can actually play around. If you bounced off an earlier 0.3.x build because it felt thin, this is a reasonable point to check back in.
The Android build is worth flagging too — text-based games translate to mobile far better than 4K-render Ren’Py projects do, and Hello World is one of the few in this niche that treats the phone version as a first-class target rather than an afterthought.
