Hazelnut Latte v0.16.0.1 Released
Rad Lord has pushed out Hazelnut Latte v0.16.0.1, and the version label itself signals the biggest change: the game has been ported to Unity. The full changelog is posted behind a spoiler tag on F95zone and isn’t publicly readable, so the exact scope of the port — what broke, what got rebuilt, what stayed the same — isn’t confirmed beyond the engine switch itself.
One piece of the patch notes that is available concerns the save and load menu. The developer writes that the change “won’t make a huge difference on save size, but it will let the save / load menu load in much faster.” That’s a welcome fix for a game of this size — Hazelnut Latte has racked up over 1.85 million views and 598 likes on its F95zone thread, meaning plenty of players have accumulated save files that this should now handle faster.
Hazelnut Latte follows a male protagonist through a harem-driven, 2DCG-animated sandbox with romance, cheating, and voyeurism threads running alongside its comedy-tinged slice-of-life setup. An engine migration this late in a project’s life is a notable undertaking — it usually means UI, save compatibility, and scene rendering all need rechecking — so players updating from earlier builds should keep an eye out for save-compatibility notes from the developer before jumping in.
The build is available now for Windows.
