Guest House follows a male protagonist navigating life in a shared home with a cast of women, leaning into romance and harem dynamics across an animated 3DCG kinetic-novel format. The game has been building steadily since launch, with each update extending the story and polishing the experience.
Version 0.2.10’s headlining addition is Instafame — a new in-game phone app that populates with social media posts and direct messages from characters as the story progresses. It’s a detail that kinetic novels don’t always bother with, and one that adds a layer of ambient characterisation between scenes. The app updates dynamically as you play, meaning there’s a reason to check it regularly rather than dismiss it after the first look.
