Friends of Mine v1.5.1 Released
Sunfall has pushed out version 1.5.1 of Friends of Mine, the sprawling text-based sandbox that has quietly become one of the most-viewed threads on F95zone with over 6.6 million views and nearly 700 likes. The update focuses on quality-of-life polish rather than a big story chapter, but the changes are ones long-time players have been asking for.
The headline addition is a new appearance-check feature. According to the patch notes, players now get “a screen (next to your name) that will allow you to check your appearance from anywhere!” — a small but genuinely useful convenience in a game where outfits, body changes, and corruption stats shift constantly across dozens of interconnected characters.
On the technical side, Sunfall also tackled the game’s ballooning file size. The changelog notes the download was reduced “by around 400 MB (despite the new clips/images) by compressing a bunch of clips that were saved with higher bitrate than necessary.” For a game that leans heavily on real-porn video clips to illustrate its scenes, that’s a meaningful cut for anyone re-downloading the full build.
Friends of Mine remains a niche but devoted corner of the adult gaming scene: a text-driven harem sim built around blackmail, corruption, and slowly unraveling relationships with a rotating cast, spun off from Sunfall’s earlier hit Family Trouble. Version 1.5.1 is available now for Windows, Linux, and Mac.
