Find Wife In a Dungeon cover

Developer bitsalex has published the first public build of Find Wife In a Dungeon, version 0.1, a fantasy RPG that swaps the usual loot-and-level dungeon loop for a courtship one.

The premise is exactly what the title advertises: you descend into a dungeon not to clear it, but to find someone to marry. Encounters double as introductions, and the monster girls you meet in the depths become the game’s romance roster rather than XP fodder.

Find Wife In a Dungeon gameplay

Mechanically, v0.1 layers three systems on top of each other. There’s a strategy component governing how you plan each descent, a dating-sim relationship track for building affection with individual characters, and a harem structure that lets multiple routes run in parallel instead of locking you into one partner per playthrough. Female-domination dynamics feature in several encounters, so the balance of power in these relationships is not always tilted the way a standard dating sim would frame it.

Visually the game runs on AI-assisted 2D art with animated scenes, and the release ships for Windows in English. The detailed patch notes are held behind a spoiler tag on the release thread, so there’s no public granular change list for this first drop — unsurprising for a v0.1, where the entire build is the changelog.

As a debut release, expect a short runtime and rough edges. The concept is distinctive enough to be worth an early look, and the roadmap will be shaped by whichever routes get traction first.
