Debasing Grounds v0.5.18 Released

Rax Lorax has shipped version 0.5.18 of Debasing Grounds, the text-based dystopian sandbox RPG that drops players into a brutal sci-fi world where survival routinely comes at a degrading cost.

The headline addition this update is a wave of new content built around the ship’s crew dynamic. Players can now be humiliated by the crew or by Rico specifically, unlocking 8 new verbal abuse and spanking scenes that expand the existing submission mechanics. These encounters aren’t dead ends — they can escalate further into three new humiliation gangbang scenes, giving the power dynamic real consequences for those who push deeper into crew relationships.

A new recurring quest also debuts: Crew’s Pet. It gives players a structured path to maintain the crew’s “liked” stat, providing a way to stay in their favor while navigating the threat of being passed to Viper. It’s exactly the kind of systemic side content that fits Debasing Grounds’ approach to consequence-driven sandbox play — every relationship costs something.

Character creation receives a quiet but meaningful expansion as well, with new options for adjusting body attributes at game start, giving players more granular control over how their character feels and responds throughout a run.
